Documenting Our Lives in Pictures…and a Few Words

First of all, I take a lot of pictures, especially when we travel.  I don’t consider myself to be a photographer, as I’m sure you can tell, but we’re usually moving too fast for me to paint the gorgeous scenes I see, so I try to capture them on film or in pixels…to look at later.  Most of my photos (that don’t suck) will end up here sooner or later.

And then there’s the blog…

I consider this blog to be something of a diary that I’m writing to remind myself when I’m older about how much fun I used to have when I was younger. I should have started it much sooner, but they didn’t have personal computers when I was having the most fun of my misspent youth — and if they had had them, I couldn’t have afforded one.

Most of these posts concern instead what my husband and I do on our travels. Some posts concern  the few (and far between) extraordinary events in our daily lives.  Although, most of the cool and fun stuff that happens never gets written about…except perhaps for an occasional mention on Facebook…or not.

But if you happen across these pages, and find anything that interests or amuses you, let me know.   It’d be nice to hear that.
