Studio!

Entering my new studio space, having finally (mostly) finished painting the walls and adding new curtains and shades...A room with space and light and a fan and A/C and heat, and a nice springy wood floor. I can even reach to open the windows now. :D I love it! My encaustic table (right now just a door clamped to my soon-to-be-former desk (sniff!) -- soon I will build the door-top onto some legs with casters, and add a couple of storage shelves). The painting wall...easel with small oil painting in progress and taborets on either side of easel.
Bookshelves with mostly art books, blank canvases and assorted doodads. I repurposed an Intermetro closet thingy into some very useful storage for art supplies and canvases. A kitchen cart for more supply storage and paper cutter, and some great little storage drawers from Jerry's Artarama.
Another cabinet for storage (matching cabinet will replace black shelves this weekend). I love my extravagant Mission style lamp and cheap paper lanterns!

Description: Here are some initial pics from my fully-fledged studio -- something I have wanted for so long, it's not even funny. Some more changes to come in the next few weeks, but it is operational now! Yeah!!!
