Pasta Carbonara

  • 1/8lb bacon (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/8lb butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
  • 1/2lb pasta
  • 1 egg (whipped)
  • 1/6 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese (freshly grated)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)


Step 1. Cook bacon in butter until clear.
Step 2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan, and add the butter and bacon.
Step 3. Add the vinegar; this will turn the milk to cheese.
Step 4. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sauce cooks smooth.
Step 5. Boil your favorite pasta al dente. Drain, then return to the pan.
Step 6. Immediately throw in the egg, bacon sauce, and grated cheese.
Step 7. Add salt and pepper, toss, and serve.
